Cheaper if billed less often: £43/mo billed quarterly (£129.99), or £33.33/mo billed annually (£399.99). A 7-day trial is £9.99. Founded 2020 by UK DJ/producer Josh Baker; Hazel Savage (former Musiio co-founder, later sold to SoundCloud) joined as CEO in February 2025. A curated selection of Syntho courses launched on Spotify's Courses hub for UK Premium subscribers in mid-2025.

online platformOnline school for underground electronic music production and DJing. Standard membership is £45/mo (video library, Discord community); VIP is £55/mo and adds two track feedback sessions a month plus the Introduction To Making Music course. That course is also sold standalone: £150 one-off for lifetime access, or included free on VIP. 6 and 12-month plans are available at a discount to the monthly rate. online platformOnline academy run by house producer Burnski (James Burnham), with 500+ tutorials (new ones added weekly) and A&R-style track feedback from 15 partner labels. Monthly membership is £49, or £229 a year (£19/mo equivalent). A Get Signed Mentorship tier with 4 personal 1-to-1 sessions is £549. Instructor roster beyond Burnski includes Robin Graham and Oldboy.
Point Blank Online
online platformPoint Blank's online arm, running the same diploma and degree pathways remotely as the Hoxton campus. Its cheapest standalone course is the 6-month Music Production Certificate (Specialist route) at £2,245 paid in full, or £200 registration plus £420/month; the online CertHE and BA (Hons) degree routes are both £6,500/yr for UK students in 2026/27.
Sonic Academy
online platformSubscription-based production tutorials with monthly and committed plans; 949 courses, project files and samples included. No-commitment monthly access is £9.99/mo; the annual plan is £79.99/yr (around £6.67/mo), which also includes two subscription plugins (SA76, JU-60) for the membership's duration. Listed as an Ableton Certified Training Center.
Producertech
online platformPer-course tutorials with streamed lessons and downloadable project files. Individual courses range from £9.95 (Groove Fundamentals) to £99.95 (Beginner's Guide to Music Production in Ableton Live). Founded 2009 by Rob Jones, an Ableton-certified trainer; catalogue spans 400+ hours across Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Cubase and Maschine, with tutors including Reso, Simon Shackleton and John Tejada.
Mix With The Masters
online platformVideo-lesson subscription platform teaching mixing and production from name engineers. The entry Access tier (4 video series a year, one per quarter) is £89/yr; Pro (full 200+ series catalogue) is £27.90/mo; Expert adds a plugin outlet and a free consulting session at £569/yr. Also runs flagship week-long residential seminars at Studios La Fabrique in France, published from €4,000, though none were open for booking at last check.
Puremix
online platformSubscription video platform with 900+ mixing and production lessons, founded by Fab Dupont, training engineers since 2010 with 280,000+ engineers/producers in its community. Operates independently; claims elsewhere that it was acquired did not check out against any source. $19.99/mo, or $199.99/yr (about 2 months free). Co-founder Fab Dupont is a 6-time Grammy-nominated NYC mixing/mastering engineer; other mentors include Andrew Scheps, Michael Brauer, Chris Lord-Alge and Mick Guzauski.

Music production, a complete DJ course, composition, artist development and 1-to-1 tuition at 220 Chapel Street, with in-person, online and weekend taster formats. A free intro taster course requires only a £59 fully-refundable deposit; the Complete DJ Course (12 weeks) is £1,095 paid upfront; Introduction to Music Production runs up to roughly £1,795 on a 12-week fast-track instalment plan. Praised by Red Bull Music Academy's Chris Cox as "by far the best" of the music tech schools visited on their UK tour.
Make Me A DJ
private schoolRunning since 2008 from a three-studio building in Ancoats, open 7 days a week. One-to-one DJ and production lessons, plus Ableton, Logic and Cubase courses from £450 and online DJ courses from £150 (Intermediate £200, Advanced £250, full bundle £599). 1-to-1 DJ lessons run £420 for 6 hours up to £1,440 for a 3-day crash course. Point Blank Music School
private schoolFounded in 1994, with a 30,000 square foot campus in Shoreditch, London, which the school describes on its own site as brand new. Middlesex University has validated pointblank degrees; separately, pointblank's own academic partnerships page states it holds Degree Awarding Powers, which may cover other or newer programmes. Worth confirming which route applies to a specific course before enrolling. Holds TEF Gold from the Office for Students, awarded 2023, the only specialist music production institute in the UK to do so. Its cheapest standalone course is Piano Keyboard Skills (3 months, £695); most other Short courses (Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Sound Engineering, DJing, Music Business) run £935 to £1,995 for 3 months, Specialist certificates (6 to 9 months) from £4,990, and the BA (Hons) degree route is £9,790/yr for UK students in the 2026/27 academic year.
Garnish Music Production School
private schoolTeaching since 2009 at 1 Emma Street, near London Fields, with class sizes capped at six. The Ableton Producer Program is £3,499 and the Electronic Music Production Diploma £7,499 in total.
London Sound Academy
private schoolOne-to-one DJ and production tuition in Camden since 2010. Standard DJ and Music Production courses (4 lessons of 2 hours) are £369 each, with Elite DJ (6 lessons plus 2 studio sessions), Vinyl DJ and Mixing & Mastering courses at £649. Describes itself as one of the few Pioneer authorised educators in the world; alumni cited with deals at Spinnin, Universal and Island Records, with student gig access at Ministry of Sound and Egg LDN.
Tileyard Education
private schoolEight-week evening short courses inside the Tileyard complex at Kings Cross, in person or online. The online Music Production for Beginners course is £350 (£30/month over 12 months interest-free); the same course in person at Tileyard is £499 (£42/month). Also runs Vocal Production and K-pop Songwriting short courses. Tileyard's complex houses 200+ music businesses (Apple Music 1, Ableton, Focusrite) and 160 private studios used by artists including The Prodigy and Noel Gallagher. Its MA programmes are delivered in partnership with Nottingham Trent University.
BIMM London
private schoolThe Fulham campus of BIMM University, teaching degrees, diplomas and short courses. Ableton's directory lists it as a Certified Training Centre. Originated as Drumtech, founded 1983, becoming Tech Music School before BIMM's 2010 acquisition and 2014 rebrand to BIMM London. One of only two UK BIMM campuses (with Manchester) currently running short courses: 3-day camps or 6-week part-time evening courses are £299. The BA/BMus (Hons) degree route is £9,790/yr for UK students, the same uniform fee across all BIMM UK campuses.
SAE Institute London
private schoolThe London campus of the global SAE network, open since 1985. Audio production degrees validated by the University of Hertfordshire, at £9,790 a year over three years or £11,750 a year accelerated over two. A Mastering Summer School short course is listed but had no scheduled dates or live price at last check, so the degree remains the only currently-priced entry point.
London School of Electronic Music
private schoolTwelve-week group courses capped at six students, taught at The Qube in Elephant and Castle and online. Runs the Fresh Beats student label with radio and club-night slots. 1-to-1 coaching starts at £50/hour; a Beginner Music Production 1-to-1 (8 hours) is £380 one-off; DJ courses run from £295/month over 2 months; a flagship combined DJ and Producer course is £1,645/month. No public phone number is published; enquiries go through email or social media.

private schoolDegrees validated by Falmouth University, running since 2018. Also has a Sheffield campus, opened 2023, sharing the same course catalogue and £9,790/yr fee. Short-course weekend camps with visiting artists (Classic Rock, Prog Rock, Songwriting) run around £750 for 3 to 4 days when scheduled, hosted at the Brighton site; no separately-priced 1-to-1 tuition is advertised.
WaterBear College of Music, Sheffield
private schoolWaterBear's second campus, opened 2023 inside the former Gatecrasher nightclub, sharing Brighton's course catalogue and £9,790/yr fee. Short-course weekend camps with visiting artists run around £750 for 3 to 4 days when scheduled, though these are currently hosted at the Brighton site rather than Sheffield.

private schoolRun by Simon Stokes, confirmed on Ableton's own directory as an Ableton Certified Trainer based in Glasgow. Teaches production, DJing and sound engineering in-studio, in the evening, at weekends and online. Also trades as Shoogle Studios and Soma Skool.
The Sound Lab
private schoolOne-to-one DJ and music production tuition on Pioneer CDJ-3000s and Ableton Live 12, in person in Lincoln or online. Prices are shared on a free introductory call rather than published; re-checked directly on both the DJ Lessons and Music Production Lessons pages and confirmed genuinely no rate card exists on the site. Founder and lead mentor Ben Elding has releases on the label Shen and has performed alongside Sasha and John Digweed across the UK and Ibiza. Studio hardware includes a Nord Lead A1, Korg Minilogue XD and Moog Minitaur. Runs an active Discord community for students.
