subSine | Academy of Electronic Music

Founded in 2010 by Simon Stokes, performing as Petrichor. Ableton's own directory names him Scotland's only Certified Trainer. Stokes signed to Glasgow techno institution Soma Records by 2013, and his studio collaborators include Slam (Soma), Domenic Capello (Sub Club), Jackmaster (Numbers) and Jasper James (XOYO), giving the school a genuine line into Glasgow's internationally known techno scene rather than just a marketing claim.

Courses run from a £45 online Deepbass techno masterclass up through tiered online Ableton courses (£120-£340) to in-person studio tiers (Creator/Producer/Artist, £420-£480) and one-off Pro Sessions with guest producers.

Graduates get a release route via the school's own Alumni Records Glasgow label. Also trades as Shoogle Studios and, for its Soma Records tie-up specifically, Soma Skool.
