Contemporary and Popular Music BA (Hons), UCAS code W301, is a flexible degree letting students specialise in musicology, performance or composition, but it also carries real production and DJ content: a compulsory Studio Production/Audio Production Skills module, plus optional modules in Contemporary Musical Materials and Technologies and DJing Skills and Turntablism. Students get access to two professional recording studios, a dedicated DJ suite, 25 acoustically treated practice rooms and the wider £4.5m Music Studios building, alongside the 400-seat King's Hall for performance.
