Running since 1986 (originally as The Guitar Institute and BassTech before rebranding to ICMP in 2006) across two Kilburn-area campuses on Dyne Road and Salusbury Road. Offers degrees, one-year CertHE courses, and a large slate of part-time evening and short courses in production, performance, songwriting and music business.
Won full independent degree-awarding powers from the Office for Students in 2021 and holds TEF Silver (2023) for student experience and outcomes. Its cheapest current option is a 6-week evening Music Production & Mixing course at £199; other evening courses range roughly £249 to £2,250+ depending on length, and the degree/CertHE route is £9,790/yr for UK students.
Its BA (Hons) Music Business holds Chartered Management Institute accreditation, which ICMP states is the only music business degree in the UK with it.
